ABOUT
Local artist, Natalia Wohletz, is the first place winner of the 2019 Mackinac Island Contemporary Art Exhibit and has been a finalist in ArtPrize10 and exhibits throughout Michigan. 1. Draw. 2. Carve. 3. Print. Those are the three steps she takes to create her hand-pulled linoleum block prints, which feature earthy, dynamic designs that reflect her passion for nature and Mackinac Island.
Together with her mom, Jennifer Wohletz, she creates art, books, photography, cards and tea towels that capture the magic of Mackinac. Their work is available at the Artist’s Market, Maeve’s Arts, The Island Bookstore, mackinacislandmemories.com, peninsula-prints.com and wherever books are sold on Mackinac Island.
