Love Your Parks Virtual 5K

This event has been rescheduled for September 29th due to rain.
The City of Mackinac Island along with other communities across the state of Michigan are celebrating Love Your Parks. The City of Mackinac Island is participating in a virtual 5K this year. We will host a 5K starting and ending at Turtle Park on Sunday, September 22nd at 11:00 am with a rain date of September 29th. The fun part about a virtual 5K is that you can participate in it whenever and wherever you would like. You can run, walk, ride, swim, hop, etc… Half of the proceeds will go to the City of Mackinac Island Recreation Department to help with programming. You must register for the race at the link below in order to receive your medal. We are listed as Mackinac Island Recreation Department.

The dates chosen in September are for those who would like to participate in the 5K with people. You can, if you wish, do the 5K on your terms, your pace, your time, and your mode of moving from one spot to the other.
