Harbour View Inn

ABOUT

If you’re seeking a cozy place to stay during your time on Mackinac Island, Harbour View Inn is the perfect match. Comprised of four distinct buildings, the hotel offers a historic feel, exceptional views and appealing accommodations to make your vacation something to remember.

A Hotel With History

In 1822, Magdelaine LaFramboise, a noted fur trader, retired to Mackinac Island after a long and prosperous career. She became a prominent resident, entertaining numerous guests and making philanthropic donations – including land to St. Anne Catholic Church, which neighbors the Inn. Chateau LaFramboise, the manor built for Magdelaine, now serves as the Harbour View Inn’s main building.

Room Offerings

At Harbour View Inn, you can choose between a variety of room styles. If you’re looking for a room that’s charming and quaint, consider the Inn’s Cottage Rooms, which include a queen bed and a private bathroom. Situated in The Cottage, which is adjacent to the Inn’s main house, these rooms deliver a stunning view of either the Island’s harbor or the surrounding grounds.

If you’d like to enhance your trip, choose a Garden View Room.  These luxurious chambers are available with a queen bed, a king bed or two queen beds, and each room delivers a view of the Inn’s gardens.
