Hiking and Biking Tours
Take a hiking or biking tour with Doc Crain-learn about
our local legends and lore, visit arch rock, skull cave,
sugarloaf, british landing, devil's kitchen and the beach
of a bazillion beautiful skipping stones while traversing
through Mackinac Island's boreal forest trails. Doc doesn't
charge a fee for services, but gratuities accepted. Hiking
tours meet at 2pm at the Father Marquette Statue. Biking
tours meet at Mackinac Wheels next to Bay View Bed & Breakfast
at 10am daily (no Sundays) weather permitting. Sunset
bike tours at 7pm on Fridays and Saturdays only.
Zoo de Mack
The Annual Zoo-De-Mackinac Bike Race on is a weekend of fun and one of the
most scenic bicycle rides in the country. This event
attracts around 2,000 participants every year.Young
professionals who love to participate in outdoor
activities in a relaxed festive atmosphere are encouraged
to join in for this great race from Boyne Highlands
to Mackinac Island.

Repairs available at Mackinac Wheels and Orr Kids Bikes. Retail sales available at Mackinac Wheels, Orr Kids and Mackinac Island Bike Shop at Lake View Hotel. Most all bike rentals offer used bikes for sale throughout the season with UPS shipping available anywhere in the US, Canada and Mexico.
